All hoses are heavy duty silicone construction and will help to prevent leaks and hoses blowing off.
The intercooler connection hoses are long enough to double clamp if you need to.
Early '99 Trucks (build date prior to 12/07/98) require smaller y-pipe couplers and due to the fact that they are a transition hose cost a little more. Make sure that you order the right kit below. If you order the clamp option for the early 99 trucks it only ships with 8 instead of 12.
*NOTE: Most late model 7.3L intercoolers with plastic tanks use 3x3-1/4"x 8" long hose for both sides and the older units with metal end tanks use a 3"x3"x8" long on the drivers side and the 3"x3-1/4"x8" on the passenger side.

Brand new from Ford this intercooler from the 2005, 6.0L trucks.
This intercooler fits directly into the 1999-2003 trucks with 7.3L Powerstroke engines.
This intercooler is larger than the stock intercooler and has improved flow through the end tanks.
This allows for cooler EGTs and more power due to cooler intake air into the engine.
It is a direct replacement for the factory 7.3L intercooler and includes hump hose kit for a perfect fit.
Increase Low-End Throttle Response.
Note for guys putting this intercooler into a 99-03 7.3L Powerstroke: If your truck is equipped with an automatic transmission, you will need to move the transmission lines on the passenger side out of the way. For trucks 99-mid 2001 the transmission lines can be bent to clear the intercooler. For 2002-2003 models the transmission cooler lines come out the top of the cooler and will interfere with installation of the intercooler. To resolve this interference you can get the 6.0L transmission cooler with hoses from Ford. 99-2001 Trans cooler lines come out the end, 2002-2003 Trans cooler lines come out the top, 6.0L Trans cooler lines come out the bottom.
