The MBRP stainless steel exhaust systems offered by Black Cloud Diesel are constructed entirely of either T-304 or T-409 polished stainless steel mandrel bent tubing and welded hanger components. T-304 stainless steel is the industry’s premium material for exhaust use. If you are using T-304 stainless steel, it is the best of the best! A 3.5" or 4" down pipe is available, which connects to the 4" exhaust in front of the transmission cross member (no need to remove the cross member to install the exhaust). The four inch section of the exhaust connects to the spiral core muffler just before the rear axle. The spiral flow louvered muffler is specifically designed for diesel performance. The muffler dampens the diesel exhaust resonance and keeps the interior sound level within 3dB of stock, while allowing a healthy sounding exhaust outside the cab.
T-304 stainless steel systems are protected by an exclusive Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy, to the original purchaser.
The T-409 stainless steel systems are protected by a 5 year warranty, to the original purchaser.
Average gains with this system are 18hp and 40 lb-ft of torque, as well as decreased turbocharger spool up times and exhaust gas temperatures.
