Once you choose to have your LIVEWIRE device custom tuned, visit your local SCT Dealer and they can load up to 3 Custom Tunes into the device. LIVEWIRE can store up to 3 Custom Tune Files along with the factory uploaded tune while retaining the PRE-LOADED SCT tune files for future use.

You can easily configure the LIVEWIRE display screen to show important information at a glance (*Air / Fuel Ratio, *Boost, Spark Advance).

Notes:
Shift Point Up/Down does not apply on manual transmissions. Twin Screw SC tunes only apply on OEM-equipped supercharged vehicles (Lightning/Harley). If you add a supercharger, turbocharger or additional cams/heads you will need to have the device custom tuned by an authorized SCT Custom Tuning Dealer.

Error Message:
If you receive an error message during the initial tuning process you will need to recover the PCM. Turn the ignition key to the off position and program the vehicle back to the stock configuration through the "Program Vehicle Main Menu". You may then attempt to flash the vehicle again, after the PCM has been returned to the stock configuration.

Caution:
On 1994-1997 vehicles, it is necessary to remove the battery cables after programming to clear the PCM's adaptive memory.

MAP Dual Relief Valve (DRV++)
  • Prevents the SES light from activating at boost levels over 21 PSI and prevents the engine from defueling from "excess boost".
  • This mechanical device is intended to be installed between the MAP sensor and the intake manifold on all Fords 7.3L Turbo Diesel.
  • Fits all 7.3L, 1994.5-2003 with MAP sensors.
  • This device allows any boost pressures above 22PSI to be released so that the SES light is not set and the MAP sensor does not send signal to the PCM to go in to a defueling mode, if you are running high boost, typically found on aftermarket High Performance chips and programs.
  • The boost gauge through this connection will now only read a max of 22- 25lbs. The truck may actually go much higher if you are running an 80+ hp chip. To read boost above 22-25 lbs you must tap into the aluminum intake air horn, or buy our Air Intake Heater Eliminator with Boost fitting for 99.5 - 2003 7.3L.

  • The Predator four different "tunes" starting with the stock "tune" that allows transmission modifications to line pressure controls to improve the transmission shifting functions.
  • The horsepower "tunes" are 40HP 110-ft/lb torque, 60HP 145-ft/torque, 85HP 190-ft/lb torque and 100hp 210-ft/lb torque.
